What We Do
A common assumption is that the duties of the funeral directors revolve solely around the deceased. While one of our priorities is certainly to provide the upmost care and respect for many families’ deceased loved ones, the Turner Funeral Home is proud of the personal attention and unique service we offer.
Bob Turner, Catherine Turner, and Jake Penwell devote much of their time, talents and dedicated care to the surviving family and friends. As your guide through a chaotic maze of emotions during a time of confusion and profound grief, we take care of the worrying for our families and work tirelessly to make every aspect of the experience flawless. Our job is not only to assist our families in planning, but to prepare services and be helpful advisors so that every service occurs the way each family wishes. Our goal is to appropriately acknowledge, remember and celebrate the life of each life lived. We assist family and friends in beginning the most essential of grief resolutions: working through the hurt.
We are also available for you before death occurs. Many people choose to come in to Turner Funeral Home and discuss their own personal wishes for their funeral, or about purchasing a monument. Each step that a person takes prior to their death helps the surviving family when death actually occurs. Many families appreciate their loved ones’ preparation and planning in advance.
You can count on us to be a source of caring, comfort and information. Call us, ask questions, and allow Bob, Catherine and Jake, your friends, to assist you in your time of need.
