Virgil Tuttle

Virgil Tuttle, 67, of 63 Vernon Road, rear, died Wednesday at 8:15 p.m. in Mansfield General Hospital after an extended illness.

Born June 1, 1920, in Floyd County, KY, he was a former employee of the Fate-Root-Heath Co. in Plymouth and a veteran of World War II.

Mr. Tuttle is survived by his wife, Beverly Cox Tuttle, whom he married Aug. 16, 1984; two sons: David and Delmer, both of Bucyrus; five daughters: Mrs. Elliot (Laudie) Porter of Mansfield, Mrs. Samson (Sharon) Goin of Bucyrus, Mrs. Randy (Phyllis) Goin of Texas, Mrs. Dan (Gwen) Shepherd of Marion, and Mrs. Anthony (Linda) Cooper of Gallipolis; two stepsons: Lynn Brown Jr. of Mansfield and Loy Brown, at home; one stepdaughter, Mrs. Robert (Lois) Hughett of Mansfield; 19 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; two brothers: Wril Tuttle of Willard, and I.B. Tuttle of McDowell, KY; three sisters: Mrs. Siefas (Artie) Collins of Plymouth, Rachel Collins of Willard and Mrs. Buck (Marie) Stumbo of Price, KY.

He was preceded in death by three sons and one daughter.

Services will be held Saturday at 12:30 p.m. in the Turner Funeral Home by the Rev. Ralph Smith, pastor of the Open Bible Church in Mansfield. Calling hours will be Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.
