Bill was a very good friend, who I will truly miss! I thought very highly of his abilities, knowledge, and judgment, and he was such an easy person to be around with a pleasant and caring attitude. One of my favorite people! Just like the above picture shows, he always had a smile on his face. Many of my favorite childhood memories revolve around the Herlihy family with Mr. Herlihy right in the center. My condolences to the family.

  10. Don Kanta says:

Mr. Herlihy was the first faculty member I met when I started attending Tri-C West in 1975. The college was in the process of transitioning to the new campus. I met him in his office in the old Crile building where the ceiling was leaking and a large piece of plastic had been placed over his desk to keep the water off. I chuckle whenever I think of that meeting.

Mr Herlihy was a good man, a passionate professor and always friendly. I owe him much gratitude for my employment in the computer industry since my days at Tri-C. Thank you. Rest in peace.
