Dear Schroeder family….Very sorry for your loss. Prayers
To all of Virgil’s family, so sorry for the loss of your father, grandfather, and friend. God bless you all in this sorrowful time of comfort.
So very sorry for your loss. I really liked Virgil. Remember coming in to the Church for Mass and he would be sitting at the end of the pew and would always reach out to me, that is unless Jacob was behind me. Then he was more interested in greeting him.

To all Uncle Virgil’s Children and families,
Your Dad was such a kind and loving person. I was so fortunate to re-connect with him many years ago. What joy that has been.
I really enjoyed the meals that we shared at Mom’s and Janet’s.
I know so many times he would say that he couldn’t taste food since his false teeth. But, he would always compliment us on the food. Not sure if he could taste, or just being kind.
All of us so enjoyed playing cards with him – don’t know how he was so capable of winning so often.
.
He wasn’t a poker player, but would try with mom and dad. And, somehow, he would win.
He was there for Mom when Dad passed – such a loving brother.
The few times I saw him more dressed up, I always noted how well he looked. Even at mom’s funeral, I commented how DAPPER he looked.
At Mark’s son’s wedding, I noticed that as Mark walked down the driveway, it was OMG he so looks like Virgil.
Don and sisters, thank you for bringing him out to Janet’s for breakfast the last several years. (Oh and of course bringing out the delicious donuts!) We will surely miss him. Already know that we will be playing a few hands in memory of him.
God has taken this kind and gentle man into his hands. Uncle Virgil is at peace with him.
Loving and sincerest condolences,
Linda and Joe
