Tracy Allan Osborne
Tracy Allan Osborne, age 74, of Galion, died unexpectedly Wednesday, January 20, 2021 at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center.
Tracy was born on November 5, 1946 in Harlan County, KY to the late Joseph Edward and Nora (Muncy) Osborne. He was a 1966 graduate of Cardington High School and following graduation joined the United States Army where he served in Germany for 2 years. After serving his country, Tracy worked at General Motors where he retired after 41 years. He, along with his wife, Lois, were members of First Free Will Baptist Church.
Tracy was an avid outdoorsman, who enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, and grilling. He loved going to flea markets and if there was an auction, he was there. Tracy was quite the jokester and always had a prank up his sleeve. He cared for his family and always made sure they were taken care of. Tracy enjoyed the time he could spend with his wife, sons, and grandchildren, especially at family get-togethers and reunions. Tracy was an absolute family man and will be missed dearly.
On June 7, 1970 Tracy married his wife of 50 years, Lois E. (Lyons) Osborne and she survives. Also surviving are his sons: Daniel (Dawna) Osborne of Reynoldsburg and Joseph Osborne (Suzi Lykins) of Shelby; grandchildren: Colton, Grayson, Aiden, Finley, Olivia, and Lauren Osborne and Tyler Lykins; siblings: Margaret (James) Howard of Shelby and Joetta Levering of Marion; as well as many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. In addition to his parents, Tracy was preceded in death by his siblings: Edward Osborne and Elizabeth Prater.
