Sue A. (Nelson) Warrick

Sue A. Warrick, age 63, of Ganges, died Thursday, August 29, 2019 at her home.

Sue was born February 5, 1956 in Shelby and was a 1974 graduate of Crestview High School. She was a good friend to many and will be deeply missed.

On August 12, 1988, Sue married Bryan Warrick and he survives. Also surviving are her father: Irwin Nelson of Mansfield; her sister: Janet Eldridge (Ralph Patrick) of Shiloh; her brother: Jim Nelson (Genia Mast) of Loudonville; her father-in-law and mother-in-law: John and Sharon Warrick of Ashland; nieces and nephews, including special nieces: Amber and Madi; and her brothers-in-law: Tim, Randy, and John Warrick and their families. She was preceded in death by her mother: Donna L. (Gates) Nelson in 1994; and her sister: Linda Zimmer.

Family and friends may call on Tuesday, September 3, 2019 from 4-6 pm at the Penwell Turner Funeral Home, 168 West Main Street, Shelby.   Graveside services will be privately held in Ganges Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of North Central Ohio.

The family would like to thank Dr. Chawla and his staff along with Hospice of North Central Ohio for the wonderful care given to Sue.

    I became friends with Sue around 7 years ago while waitressing at a restaurant…always made me smile to see her and pops ,Janet come in…always a welcoming hug from her..her smile would light up the darkest night…sue was family to me.she would send me a Facebook message to make sure I was working before her and pops would come in for lunch…she loved her greenbeans and ice tea. ..she will be missed.. hugs to the family and prayers for strength during this difficult time…

    I remember how quiet and shy acting she was when I first met her! Sue was such a great person to work with, and also such a good friend. I’m sure that she and Dick had a fun reunion last week, laughing about the good times at The Patio!
