Memories & Condolence

  1. Chuck & Lorraine Swanger says:

Sherlen, our Uncle will be surely missed. I worked at Shelby Hospital for 15 years and always thought what a great job he did and always respected him for how kind he was. Little did I know that some day I would marry a Swanger and become part of the family. My mother in law Esther was Della’s sister.
We know he will always be with us in spirit, but his commanding presence, along with his sense of loyalty, caring & respectful nature will be missed very much. Our heart and prayers go out to Aunt Della and family.
    Love
    Chuck & Lorraine Swanger

  2. Sharon Houseworth says:

My condolences to his family. Many memories of his work maintaining the floors of Shelby Hospital but also making sure everyone working was safe. Made routine rounds outside every night and was always present if we had an out of control patients and sometimes he removed us from the room and took over. He was such a blessing to the night staff.

  3. Debra McClain says:
