Ronald Eugene Eddy

Ronald Eugene Eddy, age 74, of Shiloh, died Tuesday, September 6, 2016 at his home.

Ron was born June 19, 1942 in Amherst, Ohio to the late Eugene and Julia (Olah) Eddy. He was a 1960 graduate of Elyria High School. Ron retired in 1992 from Ford Motor Company in Vermillion. He was an avid Cleveland sports fan and loved antique cars. He also was a nature lover and enjoyed gardening and landscaping.

Ron is survived by his wife, Denise J. (Peckham) Eddy, whom he wed on October 15, 1999. Also surviving are 3 children: Robyn Clark of Florida, Lauree (Lenny) Lane of Tennessee, and Gabriel Eddy of Columbus; 3 step children: Betsy (Steve) Bays, Stephanie (Shane) Thompson, and Christopher (Angel) Smith all of Elyria; 11 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren; 8 step grandchildren; 3 step great grandchildren; 2 sisters: Barbara Barrett and Diane Riffe; and a half-brother: Chuck Eddy. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a daughter, Theresa.

Family and friends are welcome to attend graveside services on Friday, September 9, 2016 at 11 AM at Mt. Hope Cemetery in Shiloh. Care for Ron and his family is being provided by Bob, Catherine, and Jake at the Turner Funeral Home in Shelby.
