Rita M. Cline

Rita M. Cline, age 92, of Shelby, died Wednesday, September 25, 2013 at Hospice House of North Central Ohio in Ashland.

Rita was born March 23, 1921 in Fremont, Ohio, the daughter of the late Anthony and Josephine (Labardee) Foos. She was a 1939 graduate of Shelby High School and was a former employee of Shelby Business Forms. She was an avid card player and enjoyed quilting. Rita was a member of Most Pure Heart of Mary Catholic Church.

A loving mother and grandmother, Rita is survived by: 4 daughters: Barbara Doskocil of Westlake, Caroline (Mike) Burling of Yulee, FL, Mary (Gene) Mitchell of Butler, Jennifer (Tom) Brown of Westerville; 8 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren; a sister: Theresa Leonhardt of NY. She was preceded in death by: her husband: Ralph E. Cline on September 1, 1994; a son, James Cline; 5 brother; 8 sisters.

Friends may call on Friday, September 27, 2013 from 5-8 PM at the Turner Funeral Home, 168 West Main Street, Shelby. Mass of Christian Burial will be on Saturday, September 28, 2013 at 10:30 AM at Most Pure Heart of Mary Catholic Church in Shelby. Fr. Rod Kreidler will celebrate and burial will follow in Most Pure Heart of Mary Catholic Cemetery. Memorial contributions can be made to the church or to Hospice of North Central Ohio.
