Richard P. Alt

Richard P. Alt, age 81, former Shelby resident, died Sunday afternoon, July 31, 2022 at Kingston of Ashland where he has been a resident for the past 14 years.

Richard was born July 7, 1941 in Shelby to the late Edwin G. and Maxine L. (Goard) Alt. In addition to his parents, Richard was preceded in death by his brother and sister-in-law: John and Shirley Alt. His survivors include a niece, Kathy Fuller Alt of Bucyrus, and his numerous friends and caregivers at Kingston of Ashland where he made his home.

Guests are welcome on Thursday, August 4, 2022 from 10-11 am at the Penwell Turner Funeral Home, 168 West Main Street, Shelby where a procession will immediately follow to Oakland Cemetery in Shelby where Richard will be buried. Graveside services will be conducted at the cemetery upon arrival. For those wishing, contributions may be made to the Activities Fund at Kingston of Ashland, 20 Amberwood Parkway, Ashland, Ohio 44805.
