Rebecca Jane “Becky” Miracle
Rebecca Jane “Becky” Miracle, age 73, of Shelby, died Friday, January 15, 2021 at OhioHealth Mansfield Hospital following a brief battle with cancer.
Becky was born October 30, 1947 in Marion, Ohio to the late Harlos and Irene (Decker) Brutchey. She was a 1965 graduate of Marion Harding High School. Becky’s life work and hobbies all were centered around helping others through volunteer work. She especially was dedicated to the Girl Scouts of America holding many local level positions over the years and winning numerous awards and accolades throughout her well over 40-year time of participation. In addition to many other volunteering ventures, Becky was also involved with the Friends of the Library and Shelby Little League. She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
On March 24, 1967, Becky married Michael Ray Miracle. Mike survives along with 2 children: Michael Miracle of Shelby and Sara Beth (David) Ring of Westerville; 3 grandchildren: Noah Ring, Abigail Ring, and Autumn Irene Miracle; special friend: Sandy Roberts; and other relatives and many friends. In addition to her parents, her sister, Janet Ulery, and her brother, John Brutchey, preceded her in death.
Calling hours and funeral services will not be observed at this time. Care for Becky and her family is being provided by the Penwell Turner Funeral Home, 168 West Main Street, Shelby. I am so sorry to read about Becky’s passing. We had several good years creating programs for the friends of the library. She was a hard worker and I loved working with her. She will be missed.

So sorry to see that Becky had passed. My daughter Rachel VanOver and I were in scouts together for so many years. Love going camping, Washington DC, and other places as scouts. She was a wonderful lady I truly miss her smile.
