Nora L. Trammell
Nora L. Trammell, age 83, of Shelby, died Sunday, December 20, 2020 at her home after a long illness.
Nora was born February 2, 1937 in Dover, Ohio to the late Neil and Ethel (Hall) Williamson. Nora was a 1955 graduate of Shelby High School. She worked at Mansfield General as an EEG Technician and a Sports Medicine Transcriptionist retiring after 32 years of service. Nora was a faithful member of First Baptist Church in Shelby.
Nora was an avid reader, enjoyed bowling and was a member of a league, and loved to watch tv and baseball, especially when the Cleveland Indians were playing. She enjoyed cooking and baking and although it is hard to pick a favorite, her pot roast is at the top of the list. Nora loved her family and always looked forward to getting together for cookouts, Thanksgiving, and Christmas.
Those left to cherish Nora’s memory are her daughters: Deborah (James) Steward of Mansfield and Rachel (Wyman) Summerall of North Ft. Myers, FL; 3 grandchildren: Kellie Steward, J. Matthew (Tina) Steward, and Caleb Summerall; 2 great grandchildren: Dominick Steward & Sophia Kiser; sister: Sandy Sellers-Lehman of Shelby; and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. In addition to her parents, Nora was preceded in death by her husband: Guy Bowling; grandson: Joshua Steward; and sister: Joanne Barber.
Private family services will be held and calling hours will not be observed. Burial will be in Oakland Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation in Nora’s name by going to komen.org/donate. Care for Nora and her family is being provided by Penwell Turner Funeral Home, 168 West Main Street, Shelby.

We are so sorry to hear of Nora’s passing. Nora was a great neighbor and enjoyed talking with her. Will keep all of in prayers.
