Merle Ray Zimmerman

Merle Ray Zimmerman, age 2 years, 6 months, 13 days, of Ashland, Ohio died peacefully at home on June 28, 2019.

He was born December 15, 2016 in Orrville, Ohio.

Merle is survived by his parents: Brendan and Alta Zimmerman; his sister: Lynelle and Jenna Zimmerman; paternal grandparents: Ben Nevin and Bernice Zimmerman of Shelby, Ohio; maternal grandparents: David and Lydia Zimmerman of Shiloh, Ohio; maternal great grandparents: John Aaron and Anna Zimmerman of Shiloh, Ohio; paternal great grandparents: Benjamin and Naomi  Leinbach and Ben Zimmerman all of Shelby, Ohio; Numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

He was preceded in death by an uncle: Raymond Zimmerman; two cousins: Linford Zimmerman and Lois Zimmerman.

Family and friends are welcome on Tuesday, July 2, 2019 from 2-4 and 6-8 PM at the family home, 931 County Road 1353, Ashland, Ohio. Funeral services will be on Wednesday, July 3, 2019 at 9:30 AM at Country View Mennonite Church on Crum Road with the home ministry and Bishop Ammon Burkholder officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
