  2. Janet Broach says:

Aunt Marty was an absolute “special” aunt and friend. I will miss our Saturday afternoon visits. Glad she is now free from pain and finally back with Uncle Boots.

  3. Jeanie says:

I first remember Uncle Boots and Aunt Marty from the wedding. I guess that shows how old some of us nieces and nephews are, doesn’t it? Aunt Marty’s caring began when she and Boots lived in their Venuum St. apartment. She watched over me when my dad was sick. I stayed at their house many nights as a child. I remember how the barn space was given to Alan so that he could build his boat in it. She sent garden goodies home with my mom and me through many summers. When mom died, she stepped right in and asked to serve dinner between calling hours. What a special aunt, and I will remember her always with love!

Many good memories of Marty. She and Boots were always volunteering and helping to keep the church and school going. Always there to help and give of their talents behind the scenes and not wanting recognition. May God reward her and Boots and Jackie well in their eternal home. Till we meet again!!!!

Louann, We are so sorry to hear of your mom’s passing. A true gem to all that knew her. So many memories of her over the year’s but always a smile and warm heart when we saw her. So sorry we will be unable to attend, but will keep you in our thoughts and prayers. May God give you all you need in the coming day, months and years to have peace in your hearts. Love you

  10. Josephine Contra says:

My deepest sympathy to all Marty’s family and friends. It is with fond memory that I relate the happy experience of our being hospital roommates in 2006. Although I had known of Marty from school years, it is there that I met her children and grandchildren,—and, oh my, what laughs we had during those visits—good medicine for the spirit!

I have Marty and all of you in my thoughts and prayers.

    Josephine Contra
