Mary Lee (Click) Ramey

Mary Lee Ramey, age 90, of Shelby, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, April 17, 2014 at the Crystal Care Center in Mansfield.

 Mary was born February 27, 1924 in Paintsville, Kentucky the daughter of the late Joseph and Ada (Conley) Click.  On March 2, 1946 she married George A. Ramey who preceded her in death in 1990.

Mary was a former employee of Isleys and AMF in Shelby. The majority of her working career was in the housekeeping department at Shelby Memorial Hospital. She was a member of the Bellville Freewill Baptist Church and followed the Lord for over 60 years. Mary enjoyed quilting, sewing, doing jigsaw puzzles and playing games with her family.

 She is survived by a son: George Roger Ramey of Mansfield; 4 daughters: Jannie (Philip) Smith of Shelby, Vickie (Jerry) Rose of Mansfield, Delorse (Danny) Moore of Raceland, KY and Kathy (Tim) Stevens of Shelby; 16 grandchildren: Richard, Paul, Trina , Scott, Machelle, Virginia Sue, Dwayne, Bridget, Joey, Tammy, Brian, Kris, April, Jerry, Anthony and Nathaniel;

37 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren and they are patiently waiting  one more. In addition to her husband, Mary was preceded in death by: a daughter: Virginia Severns; 4 grandsons: Donald Adkins, Michael Severns, Jim Moore and John Moore; a great grandson: Austin Smith; 2 sons-in-law: Wayne Heintz and Max Severens;11 siblings: Elzie Click, Amos Click, Jerry Click, Leonard Click, Henry Eugene Click, Merle Click, Malta Caudill, Maxie Caudill, Okie Conley, Rushie Spears, and Neva Jo Blanton.

 Friends and family are welcome on Sunday, April 20, 2014 from 4-8 PM at the Turner Funeral Home, 168 West Main Street, Shelby where funeral services will be held on  Monday, at 11 AM with Rev. Paul Staton and Rev. Bill Mahon officiating. Burial will follow in Oakland Cemetery in Shelby. Memorial expressions may be made to Hospice of North Central Ohio.
