To my cousins and family Heath, Heather, Kim, and Kenny–sorry to hear this about your mom. She was a big hearted woman.
When I was in college (1997 or so) I came back home on a break and Marsh and Darrel where at my dads house. Something came up about Kent State (you know the 1970 protest and killing of four students). Well, some minutes passed and my aunt was going through her purse. Aunt Marsha pulled a photo and laid it on the table.
“Do you know who that is?” she asked.
“No…”
“That was my best friend. Sandra. She died at Kent State that day” (It could have been Allison, I can’t recall that detail)
This was in the mid-late 90’s. So my aunt carried that in her purse and in her heart for so long. I didn’t know that about her until she told me. But I’ve never forgotten it. History touches us all and lasts forever. She had such a big heart. That’s what I remember of her.
My deepest condolences.
I can’t put into words how I’m feeling…My best friend since Jr.High. The memories we shared will always be in my heart. I am praying for all of her beautiful children. I will never forget her!
You will be missed my dear friend! May you rest In Peace. Deepest sympathy and prayers for your families.
Dear Family: I am so sorry to hear that Marsha has passed. We worked together at JFS and had a wonderful and fun time (when we were able to). She would tell me stories of her family and she would delight in her Grandchildren. I have missed her friendship over the years. My deepest sympathy to the family.
