Margaret (Weber) Hall
Margaret Weber Hall, age 102 of 102 Shelby Avenue, Shelby, died Friday, March 11, 2005 at the Heritage Care Center after a short illness.
She was born January 29, 1903 in Cincinnati, Ohio the daughter of the late Adolph and Rose (Moosbrugger) Weber. As a young child she moved to Shelby with her parents, as her dad was the owner of Weber’s Bar. She was a member of the 1921 graduating class of Shelby High School, and attended Mansfield Business College. On January 17, 1947 she married Kenneth Hall of Crestline and he preceded her in death in 1981. She was employed for 38 years at Shelby Sales Book Company where she was the secretary to the purchasing agent and retired in 1968. Margaret was a member of Most Pure Heart of Mary Catholic Church where she was the oldest member, and Altar and Rosary Society.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, 2 sisters, Julia Eberly and Mary Imhoff, 4 brothers, Henry, Julius, Adolph and Robert Weber, 4 nephews, Thomas Imhoff, Robert Buzz Weber, Jacque Eberly, and Henry Bud Weber, Jr.
Over the years Margaret enjoyed baby-sitting for many of her nieces and nephews. They will always remember the games she played with them including tiddly winks, hide the thimble and kings on the corner. Margaret was sharp as a tack up until a few days prior to her death. She drove until she was 100 years old and was the taxi driver for many of her friends; picking them up to play cards.
She was an avid sports fan and enjoyed football and baseball. She especially enjoyed keeping up with all of her family’s activities. Margaret was recognized at the all school class reunion this past summer as the oldest living graduate of Shelby High School.
Friends may call on Monday, March 14, 2005 from 5-8 PM at the Turner Funeral Home, 168 West Main Street, Shelby where a Christian wake service will be conducted by Father John C. Missler at 7:45 PM. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Tuesday at 12:00 Noon at Most Pure Heart of Mary Catholic Church in Shelby with Father Nick Cunningham officiating. Burial will be in Most Pure Heart of Mary Cemetery in Shelby. Memorial expressions may be made to the church.
