Madeline Arcudi

Madeline Arcudi, age 94, of Lakewood, Colorado and former Shelby resident, died Saturday, December 19, 2015 at Lakewood Villa in Lakewood, Colorado.
Madeline was born November 20, 1921 in Milwaukee, WI, the daughter of the late Salvatore and Maria (Palmesano) Foti. Madeline was a loving mother of her four children. She was able to bless them with memories of the best baked bread and oatmeal cookies none of them are able to duplicate as adults. She was a hard working woman who, through sacrifice, raised her children and encouraged them through every step of their lives, something for which they are eternally grateful. While living in Shelby, Madeline was a member of Most Pure Heart of Mary Catholic Church.
Madeline is survived by her three children: Virginia (John) Venendaal of Knoxville, TN, Mary Fry of Shelby, and Anthony (Jennifer) Arcudi of Raliegh, NC; 5 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren; 2 sisters: Marie Davey and Josie Ramos. She was preceded in death by her husband, Anthony P. Arcudi, and daughter, Sandra Grose.
Family and friends are welcome on Monday, December 28, 2015 from 1:30-2 PM at the Turner Funeral Home, 168 West Main Street, Shelby, where funeral services will be held at 2 PM. Fr. Jim Sanford will officiate and burial will follow in Most Pure Heart of Mary Catholic Cemetery in Shelby. Memorial contributions may be made to Most Pure Heart of Mary Catholic Church or the Alzheimer’s Association.
