Aaron, Eric and family, I am so sorry to hear about Mabel. I knew her for years as she lived across the road from my mother-in-law, Pauline Cooper on Taylortown Rd. My thoughts and prayers are with all of you.
So sorry for the delay in sending my memories. My dad, Roger Adam, worked at Quanex (under that name and under the previous names of Michigan Steel Tube Company and Standard Tube Company). He passed away 3 years ago otherwise he would be sending these dear memories himself. Dad was the personnel manager and Mabel was a secretary to him. When we were kids we would stop by the “shop” to say hi to dad and always saw Mabel also. It is hard for me to convey the respect that my dad had for her! They were a team, getting things done, and he always spoke about her with such respect and care. When I scrolled down this obituary and saw her smiling face it resurrected profound memories – and a smile. Please accept my condolences in the loss of your dear one.
