Linda Susan “Lindy” (Stentz) Hallmark

Linda Susan “Lindy” (Stentz) Hallmark, age 60, died Sunday, July 5, 2015 at the Cleveland Clinic Hospice after a short bout with cancer.


She was born January 14, 1955 in Shelby the daughter of the late Donald L. and Marilyn Joanne (Leonhardt) Stentz. Linda was a graduate of Shelby Senior High School in the class of 1973. She was a Christian homemaker and attended the United Baptist Church in Shelby.


On June 18, 1983 Linda married Clayton Lee Hallmark and he survives. Also surviving are her siblings: Jane (Charles) Risner of Wooster, Mark (Martha) Stentz of Smithville, Jon (Linda) Stentz of Shelby, James Stentz of Cincinnati; sister-in-law and brother-in-law: Shirley (James) Mills of Greenville, North Carolina; sister-in-law: Karen Mott of Huron, OH; nieces, nephews and other relatives. She was preceded in death by her parents, a sister: Beth Mott in 1990 and a brother-in-law: Dick Mott in 2015.


Family and friends are welcome on Wednesday, July 8, 2015from 4-7 PM at the Turner Funeral Home, 168 West Main Street, Shelby where funeral services will be conducted on

Thursday at 10:30 AM. Burial will follow in Oakland Cemetery in Shelby.
