Linda K. Neeley

Linda K. Neeley, age 60, of Bucyrus, died Wednesday, March 29, 2017 at her home.

Linda was born August 2, 1956 in Shelby. In 1974 she graduated from Shelby High School and Pioneer JVS in Cosmetology. She was employed at Shelby Business Forms as well as Crawford County Children Services. Linda was a devout Christian and founded the Children’s Church Program at Tiro United Baptist Church.  She enjoyed crafting, singing, and laughing, which was contagious to everyone around her. Most recently she was fond of watching a North Carolina Freewill Baptist Church online. She had a big heart and shared it with her children, grandchildren, and great granddaughter, all whom she loved immensely.

Linda is survived by her 5 daughters: Misty K. (Hall) and Jamie Taylor of Lexington, Angela and Dustin Williams of Bucyrus, Rhonda and Andy Motter of Mansfield, Joyce Holland of Florida, and Bridget and David Sparks of Florida; her parents: Rev. S.T. and Betty (Conley) Adkins of Shelby; 10 grandchildren: Deven Neeley (Katlynn May) whom she helped raise, Abby, Ellie, Kayla, Patty, Alex, Mason, Bryke, Zac, and Prestyn; 1 great granddaughter: Maeleigh; 3 sisters: Brenda and Bernie Highfield, Kathy and Dennis Robey, and Karen and Michael Barnett; nieces: Melissa and Renee, to whom Linda was a second mother; and many other nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She is preceded in death by her husband, Ronald Neeley, on July 15, 2007.

Family and friends are welcome on Friday, March 31, 2017 from 10-11 am at the Turner Funeral Home, 168 West Main Street, Shelby, where funeral services will be at 11 am. Pastor Danny Hamilton, Pastor of Willard United Baptist Church, will officiate and burial will follow in Oakland Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, please make memorial contributions to Turner Funeral Home.

    St, Betty, children and grandchildren plus all of the other family members of (Sister in the Lord and distant relative) Linda K Neeley so sorry for the loss, but since you are are strong in the Lord, you do know it will be hard to go on without her, but our loving Savior will give each of you comfort and help you cope with this wonderful ladies. Just think she isn’t suffering and am sure she is ready to sing the song the Angels cannot sing when we all get there to meet our Jesus and all of our loved one who has gone on before us. Our prayers are yours that is all we can do, because there isn’t any words which we can say to take away the pain of the loss of a loved one.

    so sorry for your loss,will pray for Gods comfort for all of you,just want to know your mom was a sweet lady and i knew her from growing up and spending time with her sister karen at tiro church,i recently took care your mom at bucyrus hospital as a phlebotomist and woke her up in the early morning for lab work,she always was pleasant and always talking about her children and grandchildren, we had some good laughs about old times,she was a precious lady,she will now be in arms of Jesus with no more pain or sickness,enjoying the beauty of it all,just keep your eyes on Jesus so you can enjoy that beauty your mom is enjoying , just remember one thing that no one complains they get to heaven to soon! Ill be praying for you all.
