Kenneth E. Fisher

Kenneth E. Fisher, age 67, resident of Baudette, MN and formerly of Shelby, went to be with his Lord and Savior on June 8, 2021.
Ken was born March 20, 1954 in Shelby, Ohio. At a very early age, he demonstrated great mechanical ability and a great passion for fishing. He graduated from Shelby High School in 1972 and pursued a career in auto mechanics and sales. Later in life he learned how to design and build computers. He also worked with the Teen Challenge ministry in Minneapolis.
Ken first went to Baudette on a fishing trip, fell in love with the area and its people, moved there, and has been a resident ever since.
Ken is survived by a daughter: Andrea; five siblings: Robert Fisher of Phoenix, AZ, Richard (Lynn) Fisher of Phoenix, AZ, Dianne (Tom) Stover of Sparks, NV, Tom (Priscilla) Fisher of Howard, OH, and Carol (Doug) McQuide of Reno, NV; and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. He was preceded in death by his mother: Margaret Mary (Rosi) Fisher and father: Francis A. “Dutch” Fisher.
Family and friends are welcome on Tuesday, June 22, 2021 from 9-11 am at the Penwell Turner Funeral Home, 168 West Main Street, Shelby. At 11 am, we will depart the funeral home in procession to Most Pure Heart of Mary Catholic Cemetery, South Gamble Street, Shelby, for graveside services and burial. Pastor Patrick Bailey will officiate the services. Memorial contributions may be made to Teen Challenge in Minneapolis, MnTC, Attn: Donations, 740 E 24th St Minneapolis MN 55404 or online at www.mntc.org/tribute.
