Kathleen E. (Biglin) Gosser

Kathleen E. Gosser, age 89, of Shelby died Thursday, March 19, 2015 at Magnolia Terrace in Galion.

She was born August 2, 1925 in Shelby the daughter of the late Charles and Stella (Finnegan) Biglin. Kate was a graduate of Shelby High School and was a homemaker. She was a life-long member of Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church in Bethlehem where she was a member of the Altar Rosary Society.  She took pride in her role as the parish historian. Photography was her hobby – she especially loved taking pictures of the family.

Kate is survived by her husband: Paul Joseph Gosser, whom she wed on May 18, 1957; 3 sons: Rick (Jeanne) Gosser of Crestline, Kim (Michele) Gosser of Crestline, Keith (Brenda) Gosser of Galion; 10 grandchildren: Ryan Gosser, Dawn (Jake) Fraizer, Jacob Gosser, Cody Gosser, Faith Gosser, Lia Gosser, Anissa Gosser, Brock Gosser, Lilly Gosser, Autumn Gosser; a great grandson: Sully Fraizer. She was preceded in death by her siblings: Cecil Biglin, Ernest Biglin, Melvin Biglin, Vera Gwirtz and Marian Biglin.

Friends and family are welcome on Monday, March 23, 2015 from 4-8 PM at the Turner Funeral Home, 168 West Main Street, Shelby where the rosary will be recited at 8 PM. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church in Bethlehem, Shelby Settlement on Tuesday at 10:30 AM with Father Christopher Bohnsack officiating. Burial will be in the parish cemetery. Memorial expressions may be made to the church.
