Heidi M. Fugate

Heidi M. (Oesch) Fugate, age 49, of Flying Hills, PA and formerly of Shelby, passed away on Saturday, October 11, 2014 at the University of Pennsylvania Hospital, Philadelphia.

 

Heidi was born July 8, 1965 in Shelby, the daughter of Katherine M. (Stoller) Oesch and the late John Oesch. Heidi was a 1983 graduate of Shelby High School and earned a bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering from The Ohio State University. She was currently employed at Wells Fargo as a Mortgage Originator.

 

On September 7, 1985 Heidi married Chip Fugate and he survives. Also surviving are: her son: Jason A. Fugate, a student at The Ohio State University in Columbus; her mother: Katherine M. Oesch of Shelby; 15 siblings: Michael (Jackie) Oesch of Alabama, Cheryl (Ed) Schumacher of Shelby, Sally (Melvin) Westcott of Texas, Cindy Walp of Tennessee, Sara (Chuck) Jones of Shelby, Nancy (Dr. Paul) Dorinsky of North Carolina, Mary (Jim) Cartwright of Texas, Judy (Dennis) Witt of Cincinnati, Lori McCartney of Shelby, Betsy Oesch of Texas, Tammy (Dave) Grauer of Ganges, Amy (Jeff) Murray of Shelby, Traci Sonon of Shelby, John (Lori) Oesch of Minford, and Kristi (Aleric) Cauley of New Jersey; her mother-in-law: Barbara Fugate of Michigan. She was preceded in death by her father, John Oesch, and father-in-law, Charles “Chuck” Fugate.

 

Family and friends are welcome on Sunday, October 19, 2014 from 4-6:30 PM at the Turner Funeral Home, 168 West Main Street, Shelby, were services will be held at 6:30 PM conducted by Rev. James Macdonald, pastor of First United Methodist Church in Shelby.

 

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to The Scramble for Cancer, 670 Imperial Dr., Mohnton, PA  19540 or to a charity of your choice.
