Rita, Mary Lee and family,
I am so sorry to hear of the passing of your mom. My thoughts and prayers are with you during this difficult time. She had a long life and I know she will be greatly missed. You have friends and family that are willing to help you and lend a shoulder to cry on if needed.
Reading of your mother’s long life recalled memories of life on South St. in the 30’s and 40’s. The Kirkpatrick’s beside us; the Shaws behind us and your family across the street. My brother and I ran in the alley past your house a hundred times a day.
Grandma Florence Hannafus gave us many years to learn from her patient, trusting, Godly example! Mary and I are encouraged knowing my Grandmother is in paradise with our Saviour Jesus Christ as promised! We Thank God for her life.
This beautiful lady will always hold a special place in my heart. She was extremely warm and very loving and was so so easy to love. I truly feel, that I too, have lost a family member and I will cherish the kind words and sweet smile and most important, the friendship that she and I had and will never forget her. My thoughts and prayers are with each and everyone of Florence’s family.
