    Linda and Karen,
I was so sad to hear of your mom’s passing! She was always so kind and such a sweetheart. I will treasure the memories of growing up nearby, picking (and baking) apples, watching cider being made, going on vacation with Karen, Eileen and Bob (minus Linda for some reason), being in Karen and Rick’s wedding and more recently having a meal together with both our moms in Ashland. So many good memories! I am so sorry I am out of state and can’t attend the funeral, but please be assured you will be in my thoughts and prayers!

  21. Lori and Tom Lantz says:

Linda and Karen. We are so sorry that we are away and not there to share in your loss. Eileen was truly mom’s best friend. It is so rare that two girls grow up next door to each other and remain best friends the rest of their lives.
There are many great memories that they shared – Bay Point, Mother’s Club (MOM), Lutheran Church, Shopping, Traveling, McDonalds and so many more.
I know they are hugging each other in Heaven.
I really enjoyed your mom’s postings and comments on Facebook. I just talked to her a few weeks ago on the phone and and I can still hear her voice saying that “she was doing fine!” Eileen was a beautiful person as well as a wonderful friend. We will miss her.
Tom and I are praying for Eileen and all your families.
