Edward Joseph Derowski
Edward Joseph Derowski, age 90, of Shelby, died Thursday, December 17, 2015 at the Crestwood Care Center in Shelby.
Ed was born December 30, 1924 in Detroit, MI, the son of the late Frank C. and Mary B. (Levnow) Derowski. Ed was a member of Most Pure Heart of Mary Catholic Church. Ed was one of four children, having a sister who cared for him, Florence “Florey” Westerkamp, and two brothers, Earl Derowski and Frank Derowski who have all preceded him in death. He is survived by his siblings’ children and Sharon Kessler and her family who cared for Ed after the death of his sister.
Friends are welcome on Tuesday, December 22, 2015 from 9-10 AM at the Turner Funeral Home, 168 West Main Street, Shelby. Mass of Christian Burial will be Tuesday at 10:30 AM at Most Pure Heart of Mary Catholic Church with Fr. Jim Sanford celebrating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Most Pure Heart of Mary Catholic Church.
