Edna Mahon Horn Murphy

Edna Mahon Horn Murphy, age 76, of Pleasant City, died Friday, April 23, 2021 at OhioHealth Mansfield Hospital.
Edna was born November 11, 1944 in Ragland, WV to the late Buren and Lurinda (Runyon) Mahon. Edna retired from Ohio Steel Tube in Shelby (currently ArcelorMittal). She enjoyed playing bingo and going to casinos.
Edna is survived by her two daughters: Teresa Horn-Chapman of Quaker City and Elaine (Larry) Carpenter of Mansfield; 5 grandchildren: Terri, Roman, Robert, Taylor, and Eric; and 6 great grandchildren. In addition to her parents, Edna was preceded in death by her first husband: William Horn, Jr.; second husband: William P. Murphy; 6 brothers: Woodrow, Van, Lewis, Horace, Troy, and Lane Mahon; and 3 sisters: Virgie Murphy, Effie Murphy, and Elizabeth Epling.
Family and friends are welcome on Tuesday, April 27, 2021 at 11 am at Oakland Cemetery, South Gamble Street, Shelby for graveside services. Bob Turner, a longtime friend, will officiate the services.
