Memories have come flooding back hearing of Dorothy’s passing. The many days and nights I spent in her home, being loved and corrected, were all very special. Some of my favorite times were spent in the kitchen as she baked, teaching us how to make pies and cookies. I loved being part of the Humphrey family ❤️.

  3. Jane Taylor says:

She will always be my Aunt Dot. She had a heart of gold and always made you feel special. Every time I think of her I’m transported to a not-so-fun time in my life. I was home alone on a dark dreary day taking down my Christmas tree while waiting for my kids to get home. Went in and grabbed a quick shower. And just when I needed it the most I opened my front door to find a note and a gift from her just to let me know that she cared! All these years later I still tear up at her random thoughtfulness that touched my heart so deeply!!! But that’s just who she was. My Aunt Dot.

  4. Debrs Linn says:

  7. Sandra DeSalvo says:

    Theresa, Dane and Family,

I just sent a memory gift to your home in memory of your dear Mom. Due to a clerical error my note did not get sent with the gift. So here it is:
I have such great memories of growing up and spending so many fun times with you Theresa and your Mom. We roller skated in your basement, we learned to rock and roll in my basement and Dorothy was always there to cheer us on. She made sure we had fun. I had my first s’mores at your place, so yummy! We baked together and had every summer to run between our houses. I always felt safe and welcomed at your home because your mom loved me being there. And, I loved the comfort she gave to me.
In later years when I was home, Dorothy and I shared many visits at McDonalds reminiscing about the past. So many happy memories!
It gives me a happy heart to know you were there at the end of a long journey with her and a life well lived.
I am sure she is with all her loved ones in Heaven. God Bless and Prayers for your family!
