Diana Sue “Diane” Mabe

Diana Sue “Diane” Mabe, age 72, of Shelby, was carried home to be with the Lord early Saturday morning, October 8, 2022 at Winchester Terrace in Mansfield.
Diane was born May 14, 1950 in Lexington, KY to the late Avery and Bertha (Creech) McClain. She retired from MTD Shelby Operations.
Diane had a big heart and was always helpful to those who were in need. She loved her family and those surviving are 2 sons: Dennis (Kelly) Mabe and Jeff (Sherry) Mabe; grandchildren: Erica, Brock, Jeremy, Melissa, and Gary; a great granddaughter; siblings: Donna Blanton, Randy McClain, and Rhonda (Lee) Johnson; and nieces, nephews, and other relatives. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Danny McClain, and infant twin brothers, Billy and Eddie McClain.
Family and friends are welcome on Tuesday, October 11, 2022 from 6-7:30 pm at the Penwell Turner Funeral Home, 168 West Main Street, Shelby, where funeral services will be conducted on Wednesday, October 12, 2022 at 11 am. Pastor Brad Gentille will officiate the services with burial following in Oakland Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to First Baptist Church of Shelby, 185 South Gamble Street, Shelby, Ohio 44875.

To the family of Diane Mabe….Dan and I have known Diane alot of year’s and worked with her at MTD..she was so fun to work with and did not think twice to help people if they needed it…she will be missed alot …So sorry for all of the family for your loss…God needed another angel up in heaven and he picked a good one…Much love and Prayer’s to you all and God bless you all through your loss….
