Heartfelt prayers and sympathies to you all. I remember Cris as one of my first students after I began teaching in Plymouth. She was a sweet young girl at that time; friendly to all, courteous, and a good student. When I reconnected with her at church, I found her to have grown into a Godly woman who deeply loved her family. She always wanted to do the right thing and be an example for others. She was someone special and I will remember her fondly.
Our sincere sympathies to all of you..Cris will live on thru you and your wonderful memories. She was an awesome person and we are all better for having known her.
My thoughts and prayers are with all of you at this difficult time. Cris was an amazing person who shared her faith with me when I was diagnosed with cancer! She was caring, compassionate, loving and supportive! She was a loving wife, mom, daughter, sister, aunt and friend! Even though Cris is not with us here on Earth, knowing that she is healed and a guardian angel for all of us puts a smile on my face. May she soar through the sky as a beautiful angel! I will miss you Cris……until we meet again.
Emily, may you and your familly find comfort in knowing your Mom is no longer in any pain, and completely healed, safe in the arms of Jesus right now, this very minute. I pray your precious memories will carry you through this time right now. I know she loved you dearly and loved talking about you. The last conversation I had with her was about you and Sarah going off to college in the fall, and how much we were going to miss you. She was very very confident that you would be just fine. God Bless, Love, Edna Karnes
I know your heart is breaking right now with overwhelming grief, but know God is with you now and always! He knows your pain and heart, and can fill it with His Grace and Peace. You already know what a special lady your wife/mama was, she was quite special to us also. Her infectious smile would always light up a room! Know that every beautiful thing that catches your eye, is her smile from heaven. She was loved, and will certainly be missed. May God’s peace and comfort fill the void in your hearts!
Our thoughts and prayers go out to the family of Chris. So sorry Jim about your sister, and Kelly, Kyle, Austin & Autumn for your Aunt.

My thoughts and prayers go out to the family. Cris was an awesome lady
Dear Adkinson Family,
You are all in my thoughts and prayers. May God’s comfort carry you through this difficult time. Cris was an amazing woman who touched so many people throughout her llifetime. Her legacy remains in the hearts of those who loved her.
In the movie Braveheart, William Wallace is in prison waiting his execution when Princess Isabelle comes to urge him to recant so he won’t die. Wallace responds, “Every man dies. Not every man really lives”. Cris REALLY lived! I think you know she fought and prayed for a cure so hard because she loved you so much. But I want you to know that the way she lived through the battle was truly an inspiration for me. She wouldn’t stop living to the fullest. She kept doing the things she always had. I was amazed. I see people give up or feel sorry for themselves all the time, using their illness as an excuse to drop out and really stop living while they are still breathing. Cris just kept living and really made an impact with her life. I count it a privilege to have been her pastor. I am looking forward to seeing her again as I know I will.
To the family of Cris: My sister had been friends with Cris since they were in elementary school and I went to School with Jimmy. I’ve known her for years and cannot say enough about her. I’m sure that everyone has very fond memories of her. I can only say to you kids, that whenever you struggle with a choice to make throughout your life, always ask what your mother would have done. She would always do the right thing. Her extraordinary grace made her the beautiful woman and mother that she was. All of you are in everyones thoughts and prayers.

Braden: Our hearts are heavy for you and your children at this most difficult time. We know you to be a very strong, determined and loving man. I am certain that your children possess each of those qualities and more. Even though we did not know Chris well, the two of you undoubtedly have instilled much strength and confidence into each of your kids. That is why I can say, with great confidence, that you will all survive this pain and loss. Surely, it won’t be easy, and you will need the help of your close friends and extended family to get through. Ultimately, your collective strength will prevail and Chris would be the least surprised among you.
Braden, Our thoughts and prayers are with you during this difficult time. Mike McKeon and family

My friend Cris, what a privilege for me to say that. What a Remarkable example of what kind of person we should all strive to be. I can’t Believe the Strength, and determination that my friend handled her battle. Never put off a visit til the next day, I missed saying good-bye to a very dear friend. Our last conversation was all about her family. You girls, school, and Kendall, she LOVED you all so very Much. She was a GIFT to all who knew her. What an example is all I can say, Margie said it great extraordinary grace. She will always be with all of you, just out of sight. P.S. dachshunds Rule.
What a privilege and a blessing it was to know your wife and mom, Cris. She was a fantastic teacher, a warm co-worker, and a genuine, kind friend. I am so blessed and thankful that we were able to get to know each other well over the past few years and will always be honored to call her a friend. She inspired me with her hope and trust in her Savior. Please rest in the comfort of God’s love, knowing that she is exactly where she was called to be. She is praising Jesus with the angels and looking down on us with that infectious smile. May God comfort and bless you all with many wonderful memories.
My sincere thoughts and prayers are with you all. While this is a sad time and we will all miss Cris, what a joyful thought to know she finally received her full and complete healing and is rejoicing with her Creator now. That same Creator will hold you in his arms and bring you the peace and comfort to get through the tough days ahead. Know you are all being lifted up in prayer!
