Clara B. Krietemeyer

Clara B. Krietemeyer, age 90, of Shelby, died Wednesday, October 20, 2021 at her home.

Clara was born July 25, 1931 in Grafton, WV to the late Dorsey Costalo and Sarah Elizabeth (McConkey) Rosier. She was a graduate of Grafton High School. For over 40 years, Clara owned and operated Don’clair Bridals & Tux on Park Avenue West in Mansfield. It was there that she helped thousands of couples and their bridal parties look their absolute best for their wedding day. Clara was a member of the First Christian Church in Shelby and was a former member of the Order of the Eastern Star.

On October 4, 1997, Clara married Kenneth Krietemeyer. Ken survives along with 3 children: Donald E. (Diana) Pifer, Jr. of Columbus, Kim (Steve) Stover of Shelby, and Judy (Stephen) Bidgood of Chardon; 6 grandchildren; numerous great grandchildren; 4 stepchildren: Michelle (Mike) Lindenburger, Michael Krietemeyer, David Krietemeyer, and Scott (Theresa) Krietemeyer; 10 step grandchildren; numerous step great grandchildren. In addition to her parents, Clara was preceded in death by a brother.

Family and friends are welcome on Monday, October 25, 2021 from 10-11 am at the Penwell Turner Funeral Home, 168 West Main Street, Shelby, where funeral services will immediately follow at 11 am. Pastor Brad Bunn will officiate the services. Memorial contributions may be made to the funeral home.
