Charlotte Oakley

Vivian Charlotte Oakley, age 85, of Byhalia, MS, died Tuesday, June 14, 2022 at Methodist Olive Branch Hospital in Olive Branch, MS.
Charlotte was born December 5, 1936 in Ontario to the late James Edwin “Bud” and Meriam Eileen (Riddick) Danals. She was a graduate of Union High School.
Charlotte is survived by her children: Tom (Gigi) Oakley of Ashland and Susan (Eric) Copsey of Greenwich; granddaughters: Hillary (Mike) Canan and Alexis (Ben) Parks; great grandchildren: Lane, Shaw, Evie, Dell, Rhys, and Wes; siblings: Ethel France of Lucas, Winona Reber of FL, and Fran (Chuck) Miller of Shelby; and numerous nieces and nephews including Linda (Jerry) Robbins and Eric Kenner with whom she has made her home and have been her caretakers. In addition to her parents, Charlotte was preceded in death by her siblings: Frank Danals, Ed Danals, Charlene Carte, and Leona Kenner.
Family and friends are welcome on Saturday, June 18, 2022 from 10-11 am at the Penwell Turner Funeral Home, 168 West Main Street, Shelby. A procession to Mt. Hope Cemetery, Shiloh will immediately follow the visitation with graveside services beginning at 11:30 am.
