Brandon Michael Gross

Brandon Michael Gross, age 37, of Bloomville, died early Friday morning, November 5, 2021 at his home following a courageous battle with cancer.
Brandon was born December 21, 1983 in Shelby. He was a 2002 graduate of Shelby High School and Pioneer Career & Technology Center where he was a part of the carpentry program. Brandon worked at Lowe’s Home Improvement in various positions for 12 years. Following Lowe’s, he became a co-owner of Ohio Hydroponics in Findlay with his brother, Jeremy. Brandon was a hardworking man, a jack of all trades to be exact, who liked to tear things apart only to build them back together. He loved going to the beach and, as an outstanding friend, enjoyed spending time with friends and family. Brandon attended Baseline & College Hill United Church of Christ in Bloomville.
Brandon is survived by his wife, Jennifer (Van Houten) Gross, whom he wed on September 15, 2017. He loved being a dad to his 3 children: Temperance Gross, Addison Gross, and Braxton Leeper who survive at home. Also surviving are his mother: Carol (Hickerson) Hennis of Bloomville; father: Robert Gross, Jr. of Florida; brother: Jeremy Gross of Bloomville; grandmother: Mary Gross of Shelby; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. Brandon was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather: Robert Gross, Sr.; maternal grandparents: Woodrow & Alice Hickerson; and his close friend: Ian Ekleberry.
Family and friends are welcome on Sunday, November 7, 2021 beginning at 2 pm at the family home, 1651 Albaugh Rd, Bloomville, OH 44818. Care for Brandon and his family is being provided by the Penwell Turner Funeral Home, 168 West Main Street, Shelby.
