It is with deep sadness that that we have learned of Barb’s death, and we extend sincere sympathy to her children, grandchildren, and to Steve and all of Barb’s extended family and friends.
Barb came to Shelby in 1963 at the age of 19 to work in the new Albers Store. It was Jim’s first managerial job. Barb was an excellent worker with a really nice personality.
Years passed, and we connected with her again at the Silver Sneakers exercise classes at the Senior Center. She was always smiling and so good to be around.
Her friend, Steve was the Pepsi sales and supervisor when Jim was the manager of Great Scot Supermarket. Steve, you were the best! We know you miss her terribly, but we know you are grateful for the time you had together.
Nothing we can say will ease your pain, but we are forever sorry for losing someone so special.
