I’m sorry I never got the chance to meet Annabell — but I became friends with her daughter, Mary, while we were students at The Ohio State University. All I can say is that Mary obviously comes from wonderful parents because she is salt-of-the-earth and a true friend.

Mary, if you’re reading this know that your mom did a great thing by bringing you into this world. We are lighting candles for you and your dear mother.

I first met Mrs. Pugh many years ago, when she was President of the Board of Education at Plymouth. She earned my admiration with her oft=repeated statement, “My main criteria is to do what is best for the students.”
When we would see one another in the past few years, it was always a pleasure to exchange greetings. Her optimism and cheerful smile would brighten my day.
Please accept my sympathy as you adjust to your loss.

Thoughts and prayers to you and yours!
