Anna R. Zimmerman
Anna R. Zimmerman, age 81 years, 6 months, 20 days, died Monday, March 16, 2015 after a short illness at the home of her daughter Arlene.
She was born August 27, 1933 in Lancaster County, PA the daughter of the late Norman and Mary (Reiff) Hoover. Mrs. Zimmerman was a homemaker and a member of the Springmill Old Order Mennonite Church.
On January 27, 1955 she married Ben Zimmerman and he survives along with their 12 children; Earl (Lena) Zimmerman of Plymouth, Leroy (Esther) Zimmerman of Greenwich, Allen (Verna) Zimmerman of Unity, WI, Paul (Verna) Zimmerman of Plymouth, Edward (Susie) Zimmerman of Plymouth, Mary (Adin) Horst of Harrod, OH, Arlene (Mark) Weaver of Shelby, Ben Nevin (Bernice) Zimmerman of Shelby, Elvin (Miriam) Zimmerman of Plymouth, Norman (Arlene) Zimmerman of Plymouth, Marian (Mark) Hoover of Elkton, KY, Marvin (Esther) Zimmerman of Shelby; 81 Grandchildren; 87 Great grandchildren; 5 sisters: Martha Nolt of PA, Frances Martin of PA, Esther (Marvin) Zimmerman of PA, Mary (David) Zimmerman of PA, Alta (Paul) Zimmerman of PA; 3 Brothers: Norman (Esther) Hoover of PA, Harvey (Annie) Hoover, PA, Paul (Vera) Hoover of PA. She was preceded in death by an infant son, 4 grandchildren, 1 great grandchild, 2 brothers: Aaron Hoover and John Hoover.
Friends and family are welcome on Thursday, March 19, 2015 from 4-8 PM at the family home at 3528 Richards Road, Plymouth. The family will meet there at 9 AM Friday prior to the funeral service which will be held at 9:30 AM at the Springmill Old Order Mennonite Church, on Dininger Road, Shelby with Bishop Ammon Burkholder officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. The family requests that flowers be omitted.
