Anna Mae (Jones) Taylor

Anna Mae Taylor, age 95, of Shelby, died Monday, April 18, 2016 at the Crestwood Care Center in Shelby.

Anna was born February 9, 1921 in Lucas, the daughter of the late Oscar and Helen (Bajek) Jones. She was a graduate of Lucas High School. She and her late husband, John, were very active members of St. Mark’s Episcopal Church in Shelby.

On January 26, 1941 Anna married John D. Taylor and he preceded her in death in 1992. Also preceding her in death was her daughter, Janice Clauser-Biehl, in 2014.

Survivors include her son, John David (Dawn) Taylor; 7 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren; a brother: Donald Jones; and a sister: Mary Alice Brumfield.

Family and friends are welcome on Friday, April 22, 2016 from 12 Noon to 1PM at St. Mark’s Episcopal Church, 31 North Gamble Street, Shelby, Ohio 44875, where funeral services will follow at 1 PM. Fr. Daniel Orr will officiate and burial will be in Mansfield Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Mark’s Episcopal Church. Care for Anna and her family is being provided by Bob, Catherine, and Jake at the Turner Funeral Home in Shelby.
