Albert J. Hartz

Albert J. Hartz, age 81, of Shelby, died Friday, September 1, 2017 at OhioHealth Mansfield Hospital.

He was born June 21, 1936 in Shelby the son of the late Albert R. and Lillian M. (Remmy) Hartz. Albert was a retired farmer and an employee of Progress Industries in Mansfield. He was a member of First Lutheran Church in Shelby.

He is survived by 2 sisters: Bonnie Williston of Shelby and Patricia Montgomery of Plymouth. She was preceded in death by his parents, 3 brothers: Dean Hartz, George Hartz, Edwin Hartz, 1 sister: Mary Steele.

Family and friends are welcome on Wednesday, September 6, 2017 from 1-2 PM at Turner Funeral Home, 168 West Main Street, Shelby. Graveside services will be held at 2:15 PM at Little London Cemetery conducted by Pastor Ben Gregg. Memorial expressions may be made to Turner Funeral Home.
