Wilma H. (Furbee) Davis
Wilma H. Davis, age 96, of Plymouth and formerly of Stentz Road, Shelby, died Friday,
August 17, 2012 at Hillside Acres Nursing Home in Willard.
She was born December 3, 1915 in Salem, West Virginia the daughter of the late Otis and Nellie (Spencer) Furbee. She was a homemaker and enjoyed gardening, crafts, needlework and rug hooking. Wilma was a member of the Blacklick Baptist Church in Salem, W. Va. She loved spending time with her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Surviving are 3 daughters: Belinda (Kevin) Kamann of Plymouth – with whom she made her home; Patricia (Alex) Malov of Brecksville, OH; Rebecca Davis of Ravenswood, W.Va.; 1 son: Rex Edward (Dona) Davis of Austinburg, OH; 15 grandchildren; Numerous great grandchildren; a son-in-law: James Robinson of Salem, W.Va.; a brother: Otis Furbee Jr. of Ravenswood, W.Va.; a sister-in-law: Garnett Davis of Mansfield.
She was preceded in death by her husband: Rex Davis in 1994; a son: Ross Alan Davis; a daughter: Sandra Robinson; son-in-law: George Davis; 3 brothers; a sister; and a grandson.
Friends may call on Wednesday, August 22, 2012 from 11 AM – Noon at the Turner Funeral Home, 168 West Main Street, Shelby where funeral services will begin at Noon conducted by Pastor Robert Hudburg of the Foundation Church in Norwalk. Burial will be in Mansfield Memorial Park. Memorial expressions may be made to Blacklick Baptist Church.
