Vivian Lucille (Rumph) Livingston
Vivian Lucille Livingston, age 85, of 10 Mickey Road, Shelby, died Wednesday afternoon in Shelby Memorial Hospital after an extended illness.
She was born February 8, 1910 in Ashland, Ohio the daughter of Charles and Bessie (Bentle) Rumph.
Mrs. Livingston was a homemaker and was a former employee of F.E. Myers Pumps in Ashland. She was a member of the First Church Of God on State Route 39 in Shelby and was a 1928 graduate of Ashland High School.
Mrs. Livingston is survived by her husband of 64 years, O. Hubert Livingston, whom she married on June 15, 1931; 1 son and daughter-in-law, Dr. David and Bette Livingston, D.C. of Norwalk; 2 daughters and sons-in-law, Mary Lou and Jerry Stairs of Mansfield and Kay Jean and Ted Newmeyer of Shelby; 7 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren; 1 sister, Enola Slater of Wooster.
She was preceded in death by 1 daughter, Shirley Ann Livingston, 1 grandson, Stephen Paul Stairs, and by 1 sister, Thelma Rumph.
Calling hours will be on Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 P.M. at the Turner Funeral Home, 168 West Main Street, Shelby. Funeral service will be held on Saturday at 10:00 A.M. at the First Church of God, State Route 39, Shelby, with her pastor, Rev. Tim E. Schrock, officiating. Burial will be in Ashland Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to the First Church of God Building Fund and left in care of the Turner Funeral Home.
