Virgil L. Kuhn
Virgil L. Kuhn, age 67, of State Route 96 East, Shelby, died unexpectedly Wednesday, May 7, 1997, in Med-Central Mansfield Hospital. He was born April 18, 1930 in Logan, Ohio the son of Albert M. and Bertha Reva May (Wetzler) Kuhn.
Mr. Kuhn was a 1947 graduate of Logan High School and was an Army veteran of the Korean Conflict. He retired in 1992 from Copperweld Shelby Division. Since his retirement he has transferred cars for Courtesy Auto Mall in Shelby.
He is survived by 4 daughters and 2 sons-in-law, Denise Kuhn of Shelby; Tamela and John Davis of Shelby; Melinda and Raul Vera of Shelby; and Lisa Kuhn of Shelby; 5 grandchildren; his Fiance, Ann Shultz of Galion; 2 sisters, Ruth Mason of Logan, Ohio and Grace Baughman of Logan, Ohio; 1 brother-in-law, Clyde Bell of Shelby; 2 sisters-in-law, Bonnie Swanger of Shelby and Carol Sutter of Mansfield.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Patricia A. (Bell) Kuhn on December 14, 1995.
Calling hours will be held on Thursday from 7-9 p.m. at the Turner Funeral Home in Shelby, where funeral services will be held on Friday at 10:30 a.m. with Rev. James Humphrey, pastor of the Trinity United Methodist Church, officiating. Burial will be in Oakland Cemetery in Shelby.
