Violet Louise (Stimpert) Lehman

Violet Louise Lehman, age 80, of 482 State Route 96 East, Shelby, died Thursday, November 1, 2001 at Mercy Hospital in Willard after a short illness.
Mrs. Lehman was born August 29, 1921 in Pavonia, Ohio, the daughter of the late Frank and Hazel (Boals) Stimpert. She was a 1939 graduate of Union High School and attended Olivesburg
United Methodist Church. She worked for 40 years at Empire Detroit Steel retiring in 1988. She was an avid gardener.
She is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Gary and Angie Lehman of Shelby; a grandaughter, Kathryn Lehman; 2 sisters: Dorothy Grauer of Shiloh, and Mary Miller of Ashland; a brother, Larry Stimpert of Olivesburg.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Mervin Lehman in 1991, and a brother Edwin Stimpert.
Calling hours will be on Sunday, from 1-3 and 5-7 PM at the Turner Funeral Home, 168 West Main Street, Shelby, where funeral services will be held on Monday, November 5, 2001 at 1 PM conducted by Rev. Roberta Fuller pastor of Olivesburg United Methodist Church. Buriall will be in Mt. Olivet Cemetery in Olivesburg. Memorial expressions may be made to the church or to Franklin Twp. Fire Dept.
