Viola Faye (Young) Ryan

Viola Faye Ryan, age 92, formerly of 348 James Avenue, Mansfield, died Saturday, December 1, 2001 at the Mifflin Care Center in Mansfield after a long illness.

She was born May 2, 1909 in Adario, Richland County, Ohio, the daughter of the late Clifford Grover and Neotia (Moore) Young. She was a self-employed real estate sales woman and attended the Community Baptist Bible Church in Mansfield.

Mrs. Ryan is survived by a son: James Ryan of Huston, TX; 3 grandchildren: Scott Ryan of Mansfield, Mark Ryan of Huston, TX, and Stefanie Gorrell of Mansfield; several great-
grandchildren; a brother: John Young of Lexington; son-in-law: Robert E. Taylor of Shelby.

She was preceded in death by her daughter: Jo Anne Taylor; two brothers: Charles Edward Young and Duane “Bud” Young; 4 sisters: Mary Maxine Baker, Doris Shorter, Carol Mercer and Martha Sutter.

Calling hours will be on Tuesday, December 4, 2001 from 10-11AM at the Turner Funeral Home, 168 West Main Street, Shelby, where funeral services will be held at 11 AM with Rev. Randall Collins officiating. Burial will be in Mansfield Memorial Park. Memorials may be given to Hospice of North Central Ohio.
