Victor R. Sutton

Victor R. Sutton, age 58, of 55 Walnut Street, Shelby, Ohio died Sunday, June 13, 1999 at Med Central Shelby Hospital.

He was born February 25, 1941 in Decatur, IL, and owned Vic’s Window Cleaning Service in Decatur before becoming disabled in 1976. He was a member of Maranatha Assembly Of God in Decatur and was a former member of the Moose and Elks in Decatur. He was an Army veteran.

He is survived by his wife, Patsy (Childers) Sutton, whom he wed on April 17, 1971; 3 sons: Randy Sutton of California, Rodney Sutton of Arizona, and Robert Hedgpeth of Decatur; 4 daughters: Vickie Sue Sutton, Judy Marie Carnes, Jackie Field, and Theresa Vilingia all of Arizona; 19 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren; his mother, Opal Sutton Lowe of Clinton, IL; a brother, Roger Sutton of Virginia; 2 sisters: Nelda of Arizona and Charlotte of Godfrey, IL; cousins: Merle and Raymond Howell and Marcia Felter.

He was preceded in death by his father, Harold Sutton.

Calling hours will be on Wednesday from 6-8 pm at the Turner Funeral Home, 168 West Main Street, Shelby, Ohio where funeral service will be held at 8 pm with Rev. J. Art Kennard, pastor of Maranatha Fellowship, officiating. Memorials may be made to the Arthritis Foundation.
