Vera L. (Lutz) Bell
Vera L. Bell, age 85, of 73 West Main Street, Shiloh, died Saturday morning in the Cleveland Clinic after a 5-week illness.
She was born September 7, 1906 in Greenwich, Ohio the daughter of Melvin and Emma (Whatman) Lutz.
Mrs. Bell had been a cook in the Shiloh school cafeteria for several years. She was a member of the Shiloh United Methodist Church, the ladies Aid Society and Joy Club at the Church and the Shiloh Senior citizens Club.
She is survived by 1 son and daughter-in-law, Charles and Nancy Bell of Lexington, 2 daughters and a son-in-law: Betty Morris of Florida and Ruth and Robert Wagner of Shelby; 7 grandchildren; 8 great- grandchildren; 3 great-great-grandchildren. 1 sister Mary Hench of Florida.
She was preceded in death by her husband Chester A. Bell in 1978 and by 2 grandchildren and 1 sister.
Calling hours will be today from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at the Turner Funeral Home where funeral services will be held on Tuesday at 11:00 a.m. with her pastor the Rev. Hugh Hubbard, officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Hope Cemetery in Shiloh. Memorials may be made to the Shiloh United Methodist Church and left in care of the funeral home.
