Trudy A. (Johnson) Hartz

Trudy A. Hartz, age 57, of 211 Joelynn Drive, Shelby, died Sunday, November 28, 2004 at her home after an unexpected illness.

She was born September 8, 1947 in Willard and was a 1965 graduate of Shelby High School. Trudy was formerly employed at Lazarus in the shoe department in the Richland Mall in Ontario. She was a member of Most Pure Heart of Mary Catholic Church. She enjoyed taking trips to Lake Erie and spending time on her computer. She was an avid Elvis fan.

Trudy is survived by her children and spouses, Denise (Craig) Wirick of Galion, George M. Hartz II (Gwen) of Mt. Vernon, and Bruce D. (Angela) Hartz of Shelby; 8 grandchidren, Jarret Wirick, Cody Wirick, Amanda Hartz, Levi Hartz, Caleb Hartz, Taylor Hartz, Gabriella Hartz, and Magnus Hartz; her mother, Mary E. (Nagel) Johnson of Shelby; 2 sisters, Carol (Steve) Young and Connie (Calvin) Dietz both of Shelby. She was preceded in death by her husband, George M. Hartz and by her father, Bruce Johnson.

Friends may call on Wednesday, December 1, 2004 at the Turner Funeral Home, 168 West Main Street, Shelby from 6-8 PM and also on Thursday from 9-10 AM at the funeral home prior to the 10 AM funeral with Father Nick Cunningham officiating. Burial will be in Maple Grove Cemetery in New Haven.
