Troy Allen Kershner II

Three-month-old Troy Allen Kershner II, son of Troy Allen and Jennifer Lynn (Oberfranc) Kershner of 1155 Harwood Drive, Mansfield, died unexpectedly at his home Sunday of Sudden Infant Death Syndrome (SIDS). He was born Sept. 24, 1985 in Shelby.

Surviving in addition to his parents are his paternal grandparents: Bonnie Kershner of Mansfield, and Robert E. Kershner of Millersburg; paternal great-grandparents: Ivan and Eileen Kershner of
Fredericktown and Betty Sellers of Bellville. Also surviving are his maternal grandparents: Alice Sagle of Shelby and Gerald Oberfranc of St. Peters, MO; maternal step-grandparents Theodore Sagle of Shelby and Marian Oberfranc of St. Peters; maternal great- grandparents Lana Sergent of Shelby and Farmer Sergent of West Liberty, KY; and his maternal great-great-grandmother, Sarah Brown of Morehead, KY.

Funeral service will be 11 a.m. Thursday at Turner Funeral Home with Rev. Patricia Monn officiating. Burial will follow in Oakland Cemetery. Friends may call 7-9 p.m. at the funeral home.
