Trilby A. (Byall) Johnson

Trilby A. Johnson, age 77, fomlerly of 296 South Gamble Street, Shelby, and currently a resident of Outlook Point in Mansfield, died early Monday, January 4, 1999 in Med Central Shelby Hospital.

Mrs. Johnson was born February 28, 1921 in Applecreek, Ohio, the daughter of Durbin and
Nepha (Lautenschlager) Byall. She was a 1939 graduate of Orrville High School. On October 17, 1944 she married Denver Johnson, Jr., and he preceded her in death on January 24, 1983. The Johnsons moved to Shelby in January of 1958 from Orrville, Ohio. Mrs. Johnson was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Shelby and was a charter member of the Ladies Auxiliary at the Orrville V .F. W. She enjoyed cooking, sewing, and flower gardening.

Mrs. Johnson is survived by a son and daughter-in-law: Robert and Bonnie Johnson of Shelby;
a daughter and son-in-law: Jackie and Roger Bauer of Shelby; 8 grandchildren and spouses: Jeff and Abby Payne, John Payne, Jason Payne, Jeremy Payne, Robin and Michelle Johnson, Robert Johnson II, Bradley Johnson, and Amanda Johnson; 2 great grandchildren: Darien and Kaylee Payne; a brother, Dennis Byall of Orrville.

Calling hours will be on Wednesday from 6-8 p.m. at the Turner Funeral Home in Shelby, and also from noon until 1:00 p.m. on Thursday at the Auble Funeral Home, 512 E. Oak Street in
Orrville, where funeral services will abe held at 1:00 p.m. with Rev. Jeff Matthews officiating. Burial will be in Crown Hill Cemetery in Orrville. Memorials may be made to the American Lung Association.
