Thomas W. Wilson

Thomas W. Wilson, age 73, formerly of 30 Mack Avenue, Shelby, died unexpectedly Tuesday, July 29, 2003 at the Crestwood Care Center in Shelby.

Tom was born February 20, 1930 in Shelby, the son of the late Gerald and Minnie E. (Schreiber) Wilson. He was a former employee of Carton Service, Shelby Gum Company and Moody Mill all in Shelby. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Shelby and a social member of Shelby American Legion

Tom is survived by a sister and brother-in-law, Barbara and George Beery of Bellevue; a sister-in-law, Carole Wilson of Alliance; nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and 2 brothers, Richard (Jerry) Wilson and Robert Wilson.

Calling hours will be on Friday, August 1, 2003 from 5-8 PM at the Turner Funeral Home, 168 West Main Street, Shelby where funeral services will be held at 10:30 AM on Saturday. Burial will be in Oakland Cemetery. Memorial expressions may be made to Shelby Home and Public Health and left in care of the funeral home.
